What a Week!

Kelly had a very busy schedule this week, especially on International Women’s Day yesterday!

Kelly started her international Women’s Day activities by ringing the opening bell for the London Stock Exchange, together with 49 UK Business Women and the Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg as part of the Women in Enterprise conference.

Our Deputy PM also shared this lovely image on his official twitter account.

In the video featured on The Telegraph website yesterday, Mr. Clegg said a wider cultural change was still needed in the workplace. He acknowledged that there was “still a long way to go in achieving equality in society, despite a huge amount of progress.” We’d say that the WIE event is a great way of showcasing just how successful women can be!

Kelly then had an interview with Vanessa Feltz on BBC Radio 94.9 talking about What it means to be a British women. You can listen to the interview here.

In the afternoon Kelly attended an exhibition at the Southbank held by the White Ribbon Alliance. The Dreams for My Daughter exhibition showcases the special bond between mothers and daughters while raising funds for the incredibly charity. The exhibition features photos by leading photographer Joanna Vestey, and presents the hopes and dreams of women around the world for their daughters. The exhibition is raising awareness for forcible marriage of women and girls. Here‘s a video about this amazing exhibition.

Kelly also found time to share her thoughts to this special day in her Huffington Post column, which was featured on the front page of Huffington Post UK together with other key figures including Prime Minister David Cameron and Former PM Tony Blair.

This great day follows on from her involvement in the judging panel for the Rodial Beauty Awards on Wednesday which was attended by high profile women in the Fashion and Health & Beauty Sector.

Here are a few photos Kelly took at the event.
